PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The control upgrade, which will ultimately control all new and existing equipment, is the foremost portion of this project. The new DDC system will allow for equipment and environment setbacks currently not available in this building, thus providing extensive energy savings.
Construction Management services for the removal and replacement of all existing mechanical equipment, addition of heat recovery coils, installation of a Solar PV system, lighting and door upgrades, exterior building insulation system, all new point of use water heaters, and HVAC Controls Upgrade. The mechanical equipment will include the installation of variable frequency drives (VFDs) to enable setbacks. The exterior insulation system will utilize a prefabricated exterior brick veneer-type panel. There will also be interior spray foam insulation in the roof area for added savings.
