PROJECT STATUS
In design development, construction start is expected in October 2025. Scheduled completion in December 2027.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Design Build Manager for the installation of 265 overhead pantograph bus charging systems at three NYCT bus depot locations throughout the Metro NYC area. The project is being implemented in a fast-track format utilizing multiple Design-Build Teams, Heliox and Hitachi charging equipment technology, and INIT Charge Management Software. Work is to take place within the following existing bus depots with strict logistical restrictions:
Mother Clara Hale Bus Depot – 32 pantographs
Ulmer Park Depot – 113 pantographs
Jamaica Depot – 120 pantographs
